He loved family, his faith, a good cause, a passionate debate, East Bay Crane Lake and all of life's adventures. He lives in the hearts of many including his sons Arthur, Patrick and Colin; the beacon of his heart - wife Mary McMackin; sister Emily and husband Jim Nevin; mother Barbara Gill; daughter in law Abby Koch and granddaughter Sophia Gill; Julie Anderson; his sons' mother Kathy and husband Mike Hopple; aunts and uncles Pat & Don Kline, Sally Smith, Rick Smith, Bob Gill; cousins Don & Gerda Nightingale, Carolyn Smith, Kathleen Kline-Chesson, Ken Kline, Logan Kline, Barbara Seamon; nephews and nieces Brandon, Jordan, Sarah, Rachael. By marriage Bart leaves Patrick & Stacey McMackin, Ann McMackin, Tom & Jody McMackin, Tony Davidson, Andy Crook; aunt & uncle Arthur and Marguerite Devine: nephews Timothy, Daniel, Matthew, Michael, Stephen, Conor, and Harlan. He is preceded in death by his father Stanley Gill and sister Joanne Gill DDS. He also leaves great friends, colleagues, co-workers, and "partner in crime" Mike Floyd. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial offerings be directed to the work of your favorite charity, and Bart believed that your time can be the most valuable offering. A memorial service will be held at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church,

3700 E. Mt. Vernon St., Wichita, KS 67218 on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11 a.m.
