In Memory

Cynthia Myers (Hadley)

Cynthia A. (nee Myers) Hadley passed away January 7, 2022, at the age of 70. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Robert A. Hadley; brothers Doug (Judy) Myers, Tom (Connie) Myers, and sister Sandy (Bob) Skinner; mother-in-law Enid Hadley, sisters-in-law Karen Bosse, Sherry Tice and Laury Hadley; and brothers-in-law Cary Hadley, Gary Tice and Dan Bosse. She was preceded in death by her parents William T. Myers and Rita (nee Rafferty) Myers. Cindy, born in Kettering, OH and member of St. Albert The Great Catholic parish, was a resident of New Richmond, OH for the past 15 years. Before that, Cindy lived in Cincinnati, OH — specifically on Klotter Street, where she first laid eyes on the strapping young man, she asked out on a first date and later married. That’s Bob. Cindy had a long and varied career in executive administration, court reporting and caretaking of both people and pets. Caring for others was at the heart of what Cindy was all about. She and Bob were passionate about adopting and giving a loving home to their dogs — Maxime, Dave, Hazel, Chief, Spring, Emmylou, and now Mabel and June Bug. Cindy had an incredible sense of humor which she kept until the very end! During a recent physical rehabilitation session, a nurse leaned over to Cindy sitting in a chair and said, “Okay Cynthia, time to getting moving!” Cindy looked up, turned to her and said, “HEY, why don’t you just cut me some slack here, okay? Geez.” Bob looked at the nurse and shrugged. That’s Cindy. Memorial visitation will be held at the Geo. H. Rohde & Son Funeral Home Thursday, January 20, 5-7 PM, memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the funeral home is kindly asking that all guests please wear a face mask. For those of you who don’t know the area, this is in Mt. Lookout Square, Cincinnati. Cindy would want you to know that across the street is the Mt. Lookout Tavern…just sayin’. Memorials may be directed to the Animal Rescue Fund, Amelia, OH. Online condolences at rohdefuneral.com.
