AGUILAR, Jane Kelly "Jan" age 55, of Kettering, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 15, 2006, at Kettering Medical Center. Preceded in death by her father, Earl F. Kelly and brother, Michael E. Kelly. Jan is survived by her children, Megan, Melissa and Kevin, their father, Carlos, all of Kettering; mother, Esther Kelly; sister, Susan Kelly Choate and her husband, James, all of Kettering; brother, Lt. Col. Thomas E. Kelly, US Army, presently serving in Iraq, and his wife, Masako and their daughters, Laura and Alissa, of Weisbaden, Germany; numerous relatives and friends in the local area, Unites States and Costa Rica. Jan was a 1969 graduate of Fairmont West who spent her senior year as an AFS Exchange Student in Costa Rica, Central America. Upon graduating from the University of Kentucky in 1974, she returned to Costa Rica, where she taught school in San Jose and Limon for seven years. A devoted mother, she combined many of her child rearing years with volunteer work for Fairmont Presbyterian Church, the Red Cross and her children's numerous organizations. For the past ten years she has been a Spanish teacher at Alter High School where she was loved by everyone. Family will receive friends from 4-7:00 PM, Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Burial will held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 20, 2006, at David's Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Rd., Kettering. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave., Kettering with Dr. Robert H. Wade officiating.
