ZECHAR, Mark Edward Age 67, of Cincinnati, passed away on December 17, 2018 after a long illness. He was born August 16, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Edward L. Zechar, step-father Tom Osborne, and sister, Deborah L. Zechar. Mark graduated from Kettering Fairmont High School. Mark was awarded the Deeds Scholarship from NCR and attended the University of Cincinnati, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He retired after a long career in the electronics field from Cincinnati Milacron. Mark's interests included art, photography, cycling, hiking, woodworking, electronics, and all things mechanical. Mark is survived by his mother, Helen Zechar, sister, Peg Zechar, brother Tim (Cheryl) Zechar, step-brother Tim Osborne, nephew Sam Zechar, nieces Amanda (Jon) Thompson, Katie and Dana Zechar, cousins Tom, Bill, John, Danny and David Zechar, and his beloved girlfriend, Jean Brown. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on January 26, 2019 at Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Rd., Kettering OH, 45429.
